In 1937 American comedian, actor, author, television producer, educator, musician and activist William Henry “Bill” Cosby, Jr., was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I Spy, his sitcom The Bill Cosby Show, the children’s television series The Electric Company, the educational cartoon comedy series Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids, are just a few of his television accomplishments .
