Flag Officer Assignment
The Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus and Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Jonathan W. Greenert announced the following assignment:
Rear Adm. (lower half) Daniel B. Hendrickson will be assigned as assistant to the vice commander, U.S. Special Operations Command, U.S. Forces-Afghanistan, Washington, District of Columbia. Hendrickson is currently serving as commanding officer, Navy Reserve Unit, U.S. Special Operations Command, Detachment One Zero Eight, MacDill Air Force Base, Florida.
