The U.S. and Canada are the only two countries that celebrate this holiday. The Merriam-Webster online dictionary describes Thanksgiving Day as “the day appointed for giving thanks for divine goodness”. Examples of this day of appreciation and goodness is needed in abundance throughout the year.
